Positive methods only will be used—no choke chains or jerking the dog around. The number of dogs will be limited, so sign up early to assure you and your favorite dog have a spot. Proof of vaccinations and flea/tick control will be required for all classes.

These classes are for 8 weeks and will teach you how to train your dog in the basic obedience commands he needs to be a good family member. He will learn, SIT, STAY, DOWN, SIT-STAY, HEEL, WALK ON A LOOSE LEACH, NOT TO JUMP ON PEOPLE and to COME when called. Many dog training skills and techniques will be covered. The cost is $75. You come without the dog the first class. Call Sandra at 814-591-9704 for more information. There is a registration form on the website you can print out and mail to me. I also do one on one behavioral/problem consultations at you home. Give you dog one more/last chance.

There are a few things you MUST work on with your dog the week before we start. Also a bit of dog theory and psychology will be explained. If you are as I was, almost every thing you have been told or taught is wrong! We want you and your dog to succeed and need the proper foundation set. My Motto ~ "Set your dog up to succeed!"
IMPORTANT: A buckle collar, slip collar, or Easy Leader (or Halti) head type collar will be required for class. No HARNESSES or CHOKE CHAINS. If your dog is difficult to control with a buckle collar you will be required to purchase an Easy Leader head type collar. They are the most human way to control/walk a dog.
